Vestry

The Vestry is an elected gathering of members who use their gifts to represent and serve the entire body through prayerful leadership. In collaboration with the Rector, the Vestry discerns God’s vision for the parish in a spirit of prayer and conversation.

The Vestry meets each month to support the health of Old North Abbey and the wise management of our property. Meetings focus upon listening to the heart of the Rector and the heart of the community for the sake of sustaining the health and growth of our church family.

Even as the Vestry prays for the members and the life of the church, they covet the prayers of God’s people on their behalf. Vestry members welcome thoughts, questions, and concerns from the rest of the body.
